Cursillo walk to Knock

In 1988 twenty two pilgrims  set out on a journey that would take them from Derry to the Marian Shrine at Knock Co. Mayo. With the availability of today’s modern transport facilities travelling to Knock might not seem to be of any particular significance, however, this journey was different in that the pilgrims would complete their pilgrimage by walking a distance of 132 miles over a period of five day

Cursillo is a method of supporting and encouraging our lives as Christians.
Cursillo (pronounced "kur-see-yo") is a Spanish word meaning "short course."

What does Cursillo? offer?

An opportunity to grow in faith.
A chance to experience the love and grace of God and the joy of Christian fellowship.
A way of building a continuing Christian community to help one another on our spiritual journey.
It embraces the insights and good teachings of all the traditions in the Catholic church.
It is a movement within the church and not outside it, so it works together with groups and organisations in a parish.

The Scriptural Rosary

There is nothing wrong with the Novena type Rosary or as my Father prayed his Rosary i.e. total concentration on each word of each Our Father each Hail Mary and each Glory be to the Father bead.
